     Shirley Edwin passed on the Light of ChristOn the night, before she died, Shirley Edwin took a blessed candle in her hands and passed on the light of the Risen Christ to participants at the LISS 2010 Commissioning Mass as shown in the photos below. She was suddenly called home to the Lord shortly after Mass at a fellowship reception in the Parish Hall. She was joyfully chatting with her friends and standing with a paper plate in her hand about to get some food to eat when she suddenly collapsed and could not be revived.
Besides being a LISS group facilitator, Shirley was also Head of the Parish Library and a member of the Parish Exco. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds alert when he comes; truly I tell you, he will fasten his belt and have them sit down to eat, and he will come and serve them. (Luke 12:37)
