Church of the Risen Christ

The service team meets monthly to pray and to discuss the carrying out of the plans communicated by the pastoral team. The responsibilities of the service team are:

• to intercede daily for the community
• to remain faithful to the Church and its teachings, and to the community
• to love and respect one another in the community and work towards unity in the Spirit
• to serve God and His people with the gifts of the Spirit through the ministries in the community
• to live the fullness of Christian life in the community as committed disciples and witnesses of God

Bible Cell Groups

Each bible cell group consists of a maximum of 7 people who meet in homes regularly to break the Word of God together and share how they live the Word in their lives. The members help one another to grow in understanding God and His works.

Healing Ministry

The healing ministry consists of the intercessory, praying over, visiting the sick, counseling and deliverance teams. The intercessory team meets weekly to pray for the needs of people who request for prayers and it manages an intercession link of intercessors. The praying over and deliverance teams are available whenever necessary to pray for spiritual, psychological, emotional and physical healing. The counseling team follows up with those who need support and guidance. The visitng the sick team will visit those who are sick in the hospitals and homes.

Hospitality Ministry

The hospitality ministry extends a warm welcome to everyone who attends the weekly prayer meetings and other events, befriends the people and encourages fellowship in the Spirit. It organizes social events for interaction and bonding. It also maintains a database of the community and interested people.

Logistics Ministry

The logistics ministry takes care of all physical arrangements and sound system for the weekly prayer meetings and other events, and manages the inventory and maintenance of equipment and instruments belonging to the prayer community.

Media Ministry

The media ministry manages the publicity of events through print, notice board and internet, and handles the sale of audio-visual and print materials to promote spiritual growth. It also produces materials for evangelization and re-evangelization.

Social Mission Ministry

The social mission ministry helps the community to put love in action through works of charity and justice to the poor and marginalised. It organizes social service projects for the community to participate in and help sensitize members to the needs of the poor and downtrodden.

Teaching Ministry

The teaching ministry oversees the formation of the heart and mind of the community members and encourages spiritual growth through scriptural sharing, regular talks, seminars, workshops and retreats. It guides members to become faithful disciples and witnesses of Christ. It also evangelizes non-believers and re-evangelizes Catholics through rallies and other events.

Word Ministry

The word ministry takes care of the proclamation of God’s Word during Eucharistic Celebrations. It also notes down the prophetic utterances proclaimed during the weekly prayer meetings and other events for discernment by the Pastoral Team.

Worship Ministry

The worship ministry comprises the musicians and the worship leaders who together help the community to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, to yield to the Holy Spirit in exercising the various charisms and to be open to the Word of God at the weekly prayer meetings and other events.

Children Ministry

The children ministry reaches out to kids aged 3 to 12 through praise and worship, bible stories, fun activities, prayer and fellowship. It encourages bonding in the families as parents share their faith with the children and guide them in their spiritual life.

Youth Ministry

The youth ministry engages teens and young adults through prayer meetings, bible sharing sessions, evangelical events and other outreach activities for young people. It allows the youths to journey together with their peers and be supported in their faith.
