Church of the Risen Christ

Good evening /morning, my Brothers and Sisters-in-Christ.

I am Melvi and I am here to share with you my experience of my journey to Life in The Spirit through The Life In The Spirit Seminars which I attended last year.

I joined the LISS to experience the love of God my Father, to feel His presence through His Holy Spirit and to draw closer to Him through Jesus.

While participating in the seminars, God changed me, slowly but surely! I felt this change especially during my Baptism in The Holy Spirit. I received the gift of Tongues and I cried out to The Lord my thanks for leading me to this Church of The Risen Christ where I was receiving this blessing!

After I received the gift of Tongues my heart is filled with joy which I have never felt before, whenever I sing praises to Him. It is a beautiful feeling which I cannot describe.

I now feel a desire to know more about Jesus, The Holy Spirit and about God my Father. I buy books about Jesus, His Holy Spirit and how I can continue to deepen my love for God and keep growing in my relationship with Him. I spend more time communicating with God through prayer, reading and reflecting on His Word and am at peace knowing He takes care of me and my every need and all I have to do is to submit my problems and cares to Him. After the LISS, I attended a Mass with Prayers for Healing and received healing of a frozen shoulder when I was prayed over. A vein in my shoulder and arm was knotted and caused me great pain. I could not lift my arm nor even put my hand on my waist. I suffered for a whole year. I went for acupuncture and physiotherapy but they did not help. A doctor told me to stop working but I did not despair. At The Mass when I was prayed over, The Lord heard my prayer and now I can lift my hand up high!

I give glory to God our Father for His gift of Tongues and Healing and also for His help in my getting over my financial difficulty. I urge you, my Brothers and Sisters-in-Christ come and experience LISS so you too can live your life in the Spirit of God!

God Is Alive! Our El Shaddai! Our Almighty! And His Name is above all names!!!!!!!
